Fluid Music’s Frank Rogers recently had the opportunity to surprise a group of Chevy Malibu auto riders on their test drive from Nashville to Muscle Shoals. This, combined with leading a songwriting and recording session in the legendary FAME studios made for a road trip indicative only of Muscle Shoals and Music City. The Chevrolet group followed their smooth ride with an equally suave tune they wrote with Rogers entitled “Ballad of Frank Bacon”. Recording in FAME studios was an unforgettable experience, and in the words of auto writer John McCormick,
“To paraphrase Don McLean’s American Pie, I did not drive my Chevy to the levee, but I did drive it to Muscle Shoals. And that was more than good enough.”
